Bleh Ranting
I can't wait to get away from home. I just don't like my parents as people and I'm dying to get away from them. All they ever do is harp on me and make fun of me and insult me and I can't stand it! And they're really racist without knowing it, uninformed on what's happening in the world, and are so so rude and two-faced to everybody they know. I just want freedom, that's all.
Hello my people!!!! It''s been a busy, god-awful morning, and I'm finally kinda free! My mom got annoyed with my "laziness" and gave me list after list of chores. It's also ungodly hot outside, and the heat is bleh. I at least don't have to walk in the worst parade of all time- the 5-mile long Blue Tip Parade- thanks to work tonight.

Goodnight, for now
Goodnight, my loyal NSA agent and those of you out there that actually read my blog!
My blogging game has been very off lately..
I feel kinda bad about that. I promise to deliver at least five posts per day, and as many as possible when I'm in Nova Scotia. I won't have my laptop, so that'll be iffy. Same with when I'm in New York. I don't know if I'll be bringing my laptop with me on the trip. But other than that I promise to be more consistent with my posting.
Work Story!!!!
There was a really shitty four-year-old that I had to deal with today, though. 'Twas not all fun and games!
So we have to size as many kids' feet as possible, and I was helping this particular mother with her son's shoes. While I was helping her and carrying her stuff to the register, her little kid practically screams "MOMMY I DON'T LIKE HER SHE'S UGLY!"
I thought, "Well I don't like you either you little shit, so I think that makes us even."
As I'm ringing up the shoes, this kid runs to the nearest rack of shoes and knocks it down, just to spite us all.

I just got back from my second round of real work! About an hour of it was reading stuff for training, but the rest of the time I got to sell things. I really really really enjoy the work! Even the little things like sweeping and straightening racks of shoes are less mundane just because of the people who work there.
I just found out that I won't be able to do my favorite drama camp this summer. It's a bit of a bummer, but I am going to be getting really really really really busy. After all, I head to Nova Scotia next Wednesday! And about two weeks after that I'm going to New York for a little while. With work on top of all of that, I won't really have the time to do it. Bleh I need days to not be only 24 hors long.
RECIPE OF THE DAY YAY!!!!!!
Double Chocolaty Chip "Frappucino"
When I worked at Starbucks, one of the nice things about it was that I could make drinks whenever I wanted and I got them for free! I really miss drinking the Chai lattes and mixing up unique Frappucinos. Recently, I figured out how to basically make a double chocolatey chip Frappucino, and I'm really glad I did! This version is also a lot healthier than the Starbucks version because a normal Frappucino uses whole milk and gobs of sugary syrups made with who-knows-what chemicals. Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Milk (I used 2%)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
- About 1 cup of ice
- 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Procedure:
Throw it all in a blender and blend it!!!!! To thicken it up, add another ice cube or two, and a little more chocolate syrup.
Plus, once I turn 18 and can get AdSense, I'll be doing much better financially! During the school year (if I get hired part-time), my work would be primarily on the weekends so I'd get fewer hours. But once I finished up my AP tests and whatnot, I'd be able to devote a lot more time to working! I really really really really hope I get hired on even longer.
Job update
So yesterday was my first day working. I'm really liking the job a lot! I love greeting all the customers and putting stickers on things and having inside jokes with my coworkers over our radio headsets and all of that fun stuff. The coworkers so far are super friendly, and I like everyone a lot. Everybody jokes around a lot, but it's never done in a mean-spirited way. At Starbucks, the worst part of the job was the people I worked with, so this is a great improvement. One girl at Starbucks even put a spider in my jacket, it was rough! I'm also getting paid a bit more than I was at Starbucks.
The job only lasts for a guaranteed 90 days, but if things work out they'll hire me on part-time, which would include a raise! I really really like this job, and I really want to hold on to it.

Homemade Mac & Cheese Recipe
Yay a new recipe!!!!!!!!!! This is my all- time favorite thing to cook ever, and I love it so so much. It's cheap, filling, flexible, and great as a side dish or as a main course. So here we gooo!!!!!!
Ingredients:
- Elbow Macaroni pasta (make as much as you need!)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 stick of butter/margarine
- 1-2 teaspoons of flour
- CHEEEEEESE!!! (It's best to have a blend of cheeses when you make this. I like to use a few slices of processed cheese like Velveeta or Kraft Singles because it makes it smoother, gives it color, and adds flavor well. On top of that I'll shred in Monterrey Jack, provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, Romano, whatever I have! The more cheese the better)
- Salt and Pepper for flavor
Procedure:
- Boil water and cook the pasta for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain the pasta and keep a lid on top to preserve heat while making the cheese sauce.
- Melt butter into pan used to cook pasta. And flour and stir until there are no lumps. Keep on the lower range of medium heat. Pour in the milk and add the salt and pepper, stirring until a creamy base has formed.
- Melt in various cheeses, stirring until even mixed in the sauce. Add more salt and pepper and cheese as needed, until the flavor reaches what you desire. If the sauce gets too thick, reduce the heat and add milk. If it becomes too thin, add more cheese and slat and pepper. If adding in any extras (some examples are further down in this post) add them now and fold them into the sauce mixture.
- Pour the pasta into the cheese blend and fold the sauce in until everything is evenly mixed. Stay on low heat for this.
- SERVE YOUR TASTY MAC & CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6-12-14
So here's everything that's been going on with me the past week or so that I've been MIA.
- I'VE BEEN EMPLOYED SWEET JESUS YAAAAS!!!!!
- I was hired by the shoe store in the outlet mall where I interviewed, and today I go in for an orientation. I'm super excited, especially since I'll be making more than I did at Starbucks. I won't be getting any commission though, but I'm just happy to have a paycheck.
- Andy and I celebrated our first anniversary! Yay for love and stuff!!!! Tomorrow is also his birthday so look out for a recipe coming up in the next few days for peanut butter filled cupcakes!
- I worked my aunt's garage sale which was a torturous experience all-around.
- I've been doing yard work at my grandparents' house the past couple of mornings to get some cash, and the great outdoors was not meant for this girl!
- I've been trying to eat better and exercise more because 1.) I want to live a long and healthy life and 2.) My body really needs that work, and I'd greatly benefit from losing a couple of pounds. So I've been incorporating more fruits and vegetables into my daily diet, especially breakfast. I have been cooking more and more stuff in an effort to add more and more recipes here.
I AM SORRY!
It's been a pretty long absence from me and it's been bleh. I still haven't managed to find a new laptop charger which has been really frustrating because it's harder for me to blog sans laptop, and every time I try posting from mobile it just never works out and I don't really know why! But I'm here now, and I'll flood you all with posts in an attempt to compensate for my absence!

Job Hunt Update!
So the other night I got an interview with the shoe store, and that happened today. It went really well, and I am super optimistic on how that's going to turn out. Fingers crossed, nonetheless!
The first *PROPER* Recipe- SpaghettIDGAF Stir-fry
Here we go! I made this today with leftover spaghetti. It's a really flexible recipe and it's a great way to use up leftover spaghetti and vegetables in your fridge. It takes like, 5-7 minutes to make, so yay!
Spaghetti Stir Fry:
Tools:
- Skillet, sized based off of how much you need to cook
- Stirring prongs/small spatula, whatever helps you mix it all together
Ingredients:
- Spaghetti or other pasta
- Oil (Canola or Vegetable, I wouldn't recommend Olive Oil)
- Chopped Vegetables (I used carrots and orange peppers, it was all I had)
- 1-2 teaspoons of soy sauce or stir fry sauce
- 1-2 eggs
Preparation:
- Heat oil in the sauce pan, chopping up your veggies if they aren't chopped already.
- Saute the veggies in one half of the pan, while frying the egg on the other half.
- Add the spaghetti and fold the eggs and veggies into the pasta.
- Pour in the sauce and make sure it is folded evenly into the pasta blend, stirring to make sure everything is heated evenly.
It's an easy, filling, and delicious meal, and I really enjoy it a lot!
In other news...
My boyfriend and I are going to be hitting our one year anniversary next Monday, yay! We will also be penning an erotic romance novel about Otto Von Bismarck. Get your loins ready....
